OMG That JC Penney Catalog is such a hoot! It sure takes me back to the days when I would spend hours daydreaming about all of the wonderful things I wanted from the catalogs back then. What a cool find. As for the porn mags: I bet they were a hoot too!

Wow, your blog has been a hoot to skim through - and the photo galleries are totally inspiring! I bought a 100+yr old farmhouse in Eddington in August 2008. So far have done a loooot of gutting, including jacking up the second floor and installing huge hemlock beams. . .and now it's getting time to put it all back together. We found a 70's era porn mag, "Man's Delight" along with a milk crate full of old records. But, the records are far more interesting than just being old and having classics such as "Wham!" We decided to go through the crate and catalog the records - never know when you'll find something great to sell for millions on eBay, right? So, my sig o was going through them and making an index, and some records he couldn't tell what the album title was from the cover art, so he'd slide the record out to see the title. Well, he came across one Dolly Parton record that he couldn't figure out the title, so he slid the record out and WHOOSH! about 300+ clippings of penises from porno mags came falling out of the record cover all over the floor. When I came home he told me and I said, "What?! Wow! HAHAHA!" and I decided to see just how many there were - I laid them out over a 5' x 7' area rug and STILL had extras. Makes one wonder what exactly went on in the house before you got there. . .
